What's this tournament's origin?
The ultimate team from Lanzarote, Mubidisk, had the honor of being chosen by the Beach Ultimate Lovers Association (BULA) to celebrate the second B.U.T.T. in 2003. This championship takes place annually in different places in the world with the objetive of promoting the sport and helping teach new teams how to host BULA tournaments.
Since 2004, Mubidisk has continued to host this tournament, renamed CFC.

RULES AND FORMAT
- Beach co-ed tournament.
- Maximum of 12 teams. If there are 12 teams, there will be two pools of six; if there are fewer, it will be a round robin.
- Each team must have:
- No fewer than 8 players (4 mean/4 women)
- No more than 15 players
- The games will be to 13 points or 45 min. Cap 1 if the time is reached and the teams are tied or there is a difference of 1 point. No half time (except in the final).
- 1 time out per game at any time (including in the cap).
- The final will be to 13 points with a time cap, but will have a half time of 5 min. when one team reaches 7 points.
- When the time is over during a point, that point is finished; if there's a difference of 2 points or more in the score, the game is over.
- The losing team must keep score in the following game on their field.
FEES AND DATES
TEAM FEE: 100€. Payment deadline: 1 September.
PLAYER FEE: 90€. Payment deadline: 15 October.
GUEST FEE: 90€. Payment deadline: 15 October.
PLAYER OR GUEST FEE WITHOUT ACCOMODATION: 50€. Payment deadline: 15 October.
Registration will open on 15 June and the final list of accepted teams will be published 1 September. If an accepted team cancels after 15 October and there are no teams on the waiting list to replace it, the canceling team will lose the team fee and 50% of the player fees. Therefore we suggest that you make sure that you will be able to field a team for the tournament before signing up, and, if you must cancel, that you do so before 15 October.
WHAT DOES THE PLAYER FEE INCLUDE?
- 3 nights in the Jable Bermudas apartments (100m from the beach) or Costa Volcán apartaments (300m from the beach) with breakfast.
- 3 days of Beach Ultimate.
- Welcome Party at El Mirador bar.
- Dinner Friday at the restaurant La Casona de Tao.
- Barbacue Saturday at the fields (on the beach).
- Paella Sunday during the award ceremony.
- Prizes for the top three finishers and the SOTG winner.
- Player's gift.
- Water and fruit at the fields.
HOW DO YOU SIGN YOUR TEAM UP?
Send an email to albertodrf@hotmail.com with the following information:
- Name of the team
- Number of players
- Number of girls/guys
- Number of vegetarians
- Name and email address of the team contact
If any player is interested in participating but cannot field a team, the organization will be happy to contact other teams to help find him/her a spot. If there are enough individual sign-ups, a pick-up team will be created.
HOW DO I GET TO PUERTO DEL CARMEN?
- From the airport by taxi (10-15min. = 10-15€) is the most comfortable and fastest way to arrive. Tell the driver that you don't want to go via the beach (avenida de las playas). Ask for Playa Grande, and the fields are right next to the Hotel Fariones Playa.
- From the airport by bus, every half hour. Coming out of the arrivals terminal towards the right there there is a bus stop that goes to Playa Honda. It takes about five min. and costs less than 2€. Get off the bus at Playa Honda, and walk along the street. Cross below the bridge and to the right will be the bus stop that goes towards Puerto del Carmen.

THURSDAY, the 12th:
-Player arrival.
-Check-in (Playa Grande or Apartamentos).
-Welcome party (El Mirador Bar).
FRIDAY, the 13th:
-09:30 Captains meeting.
-10:00 Games start.
-20:30 Dinner and party at the restaurant (La Casona de Tao)*.
*The buses to the dinner will leave TBD at 20:30.
*The first return bus with 30 spots is for families with children, and will leave the restaurant at 00:30. The other two buses will leave at 2:00.
SATURDAY, the 14th:
-10:00 Games start.
-17:30 BBQ, music on the beach.
SUNDAY, the 15th:
-10:00 Games start.
-14:00 Final.
-15:00 Awards ceremony and paella.
